Job Overview

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing John Deere agricultural equipment for clients throughout the Lindi region. This role is critical to ensuring that farmers experience minimal downtime and maximum efficiency during planting, harvesting, and other essential operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, and calibration of John Deere equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues using specialized tools and software.

Education

Experience

A minimum of three to five years of hands‑on experience servicing agricultural machinery, preferably with a reputable equipment manufacturer, is required. Experience working in rural or coastal environments will be considered an advantage.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 1,500,000 to SSP 2,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based incentives and allowances for travel and field work are included.
