Job Overview

The Flight Operations Safety Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and improving safety performance across all flight operations based out of Singida. The role involves close collaboration with pilots, flight dispatch, maintenance, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with national and international safety standards. The analyst will develop safety reports, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified hazards. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze flight operation data to identify safety trends and potential hazards.
  • Prepare detailed safety performance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified safety issues.
  • Collaborate with pilots, dispatchers, and maintenance teams to ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Facilitate safety audits, inspections and investigations in accordance with Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) regulations.
  • Develop and deliver safety briefings, training modules and awareness campaigns for flight crew and support staff.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date safety management system (SMS) database and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Participate in incident and accident investigations, providing technical analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor compliance with international safety standards such as ICAO and IATA.
  • Support the implementation of new safety technologies and best practices.
