Job Overview

As a Geospatial Data Analyst at Esri Tanzania, you will play a critical role in helping our customers unlock the value of their geospatial data. You will work closely with our team of experts to design, develop, and implement GIS solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing and maintaining GIS databases and spatial data infrastructures
  • Creating interactive maps and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS-based solutions
  • Providing training and support to customers on the use of GIS software and tools

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or GRASS
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
