Job Overview

This role supports Vestas’ mission to transform Tanzania’s energy landscape by coordinating wind energy projects from planning to execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee wind farm development projects, including site assessments and feasibility studies
  • Coordinate with engineers, environmental consultants, and local authorities for permitting and compliance
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions to address community concerns and promote project benefits
  • Monitor project performance and report progress to senior management

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in renewable energy project management
  • Strong understanding of wind energy technologies and regulations
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
  • Ability to analyze technical data and environmental impact assessments

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory

Experience

  • 3-5 years in renewable energy or infrastructure project management
  • Experience in East African markets is a significant advantage

Salary

3,000,000 – 4,500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
