Job Overview
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Tanzania seeks a Virtual Reality Training Content Developer to design immersive educational modules for wind energy technicians. This role will integrate renewable energy concepts with interactive VR simulations to enhance technical training for onshore and offshore wind projects across East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop VR training modules for wind turbine maintenance and safety protocols
- Collaborate with renewable energy engineers to ensure technical accuracy
- Integrate 3D modeling and animation tools for realistic equipment simulations
- Conduct user testing with field technicians to refine training content
- Implement interactive scenarios for emergency response and system diagnostics
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine for VR development
- Experience with 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya)
- Strong understanding of renewable energy systems
- Excellent storytelling and instructional design capabilities
- Fluency in English and Swahili preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Multimedia Design, or related field
- Certifications in VR development or renewable energy training methodologies
Experience
- 3-5 years in VR content creation for technical training
- Previous experience in energy sector or STEM education
Salary
