We are seeking a passionate Marine Biotechnology Researcher to join our team in Mtwara, Tanzania. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field research to collect marine samples and assess biodiversity in coastal ecosystems.
- Perform laboratory experiments to isolate and characterize bioactive compounds from marine organisms.
- Analyze data using statistical and bioinformatics tools to identify potential pharmaceutical or industrial applications.
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable marine resource use.
- Prepare technical reports and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of marine biology, biotechnology, and biochemical techniques.
- Proficiency in molecular biology, chromatography, and spectrometry methods.

Education
- Master’s Degree in Marine Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Salary
4,000,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
