Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Geologist to join our team in Bukoba, Tanzania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, monitoring and evaluating environmental projects, and providing technical advice on environmental issues.

The position will also involve working with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and monitoring and evaluation of environmental projects
  • Provide technical advice on environmental issues to governments, local communities, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and strategies
  • Collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation
  • Conduct research and analysis on environmental issues

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Geology or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in environmental geology or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
