Job Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge mineral exploration projects in Tanzania’s emerging mining sector. The role combines fieldwork with technical analysis to identify and evaluate new mineral deposits, supporting CMOC’s strategic growth objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geological surveys and data collection in remote mining regions
  • Analyze rock samples and geophysical data using advanced software tools
  • Prepare detailed exploration reports and feasibility studies
  • Collaborate with drilling teams to optimize exploration strategies
  • Ensure compliance with local mining regulations and environmental standards
  • Develop 3D geological models for resource estimation

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in geological mapping and GIS software
  • Experience with mineral resource estimation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting geophysical data
  • Ability to work in remote field conditions
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
  • Knowledge of Tanzanian mining legislation

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering or related field

Salary

3,000,000 – 5,000,000 TSH per month, depending on experience and qualifications
