Job Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge mineral exploration projects in Tanzania’s emerging mining sector. The role combines fieldwork with technical analysis to identify and evaluate new mineral deposits, supporting CMOC’s strategic growth objectives. Candidates will work alongside international teams in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geological surveys and data collection in remote mining regions
  • Analyze rock samples and geophysical data using advanced software tools
  • Prepare detailed exploration reports and feasibility studies
  • Collaborate with drilling teams to optimize exploration strategies
  • Ensure compliance with local mining regulations and environmental standards
  • Develop 3D geological models for resource estimation

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in geological mapping and GIS software
  • Experience with mineral resource estimation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting geophysical data
  • Ability to work in remote field conditions
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
  • Knowledge of Tanzanian mining legislation

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering or related field

Salary
