Our company is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices across our operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and promoting energy efficiency.
The Sustainability Specialist will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce our environmental impact. The role will also involve collaborating with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups, to promote sustainable development in Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable practices across our operations
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
- Promote energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable development in Tanzania
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and minimize environmental impact
Required Skills
- Proven experience in sustainability and environmental management
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
