Job Overview

The Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the flow of cargo through Maersk’s Dodoma hub. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shipment schedules, including container loading, unloading, and trans‑shipment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian customs regulations and international trade standards.

  • Analyze performance metrics and propose process improvements to enhance turnaround times.
  • Support inventory management by reconciling physical counts with system records.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports for senior management review.
