Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Maersk’s operational standards.
• Monitor carrier performance, negotiate rates, and manage relationships with trucking firms, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery receipts.
• Analyze logistics data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve transit times across the Iringa corridor.
• Collaborate with warehouse managers to optimize inventory placement, reduce dwell time, and support just‑in‑time delivery models.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and risk assessments.

Required Skills
