Job Overview

The Vehicle Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all Toyota vehicles produced and assembled in Tanzania meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive quality assurance plans for vehicle assembly lines.
• Conduct functional, durability, and safety tests on prototypes and production models.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams to ensure compliance with Toyota’s global quality standards.
• Perform regular audits of suppliers and internal processes to verify adherence to specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, inspection reports, and quality metrics.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on quality best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive engineering principles and quality standards (ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and quality management software.

Education

Experience
