Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement agroforestry projects in collaboration with local farmers and stakeholders.
• Conduct field assessments to identify land use patterns and recommend sustainable practices.
• Provide training on agroforestry techniques, including tree planting, soil conservation, and crop diversification.
• Monitor project outcomes and report on environmental and agricultural impacts.
• Coordinate with government agencies and NGOs to align initiatives with national sustainability policies.

Required Skills

• Expertise in agroforestry, permaculture, or sustainable land management.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in GIS mapping or environmental data analysis tools.
• Fluency in Swahili and English for community outreach.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.

Salary

2,500,000 – 4,000,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
