Job Overview

The Corporate Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in advising the firm’s corporate clients on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supply contracts, joint venture agreements, and service contracts.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance with Tanzanian regulations, and corporate restructuring initiatives.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and post‑transaction integration.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in corporate legal practice, preferably within an international law firm or a multinational corporation operating in Tanzania. Demonstrated experience in handling complex commercial transactions and regulatory compliance is essential.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 SSP, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based bonuses may be offered.
