Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team in Mbeya, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
The Data Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable. The role requires a strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data architectures that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide data architecture guidance and support to development teams
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data governance
- Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and data analytics
- Proficiency in data modeling tools, such as ERwin or PowerDesigner
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
