Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Conservation Officer to join our team in Singida, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing conservation projects, collaborating with local communities, and promoting sustainable development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental conservation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement conservation projects in Singida, Tanzania, in collaboration with local communities and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement sustainable development plans to promote environmental conservation and community development.
- Collaborate with local government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to advance conservation goals.
- Conduct field assessments and monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of conservation projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental conservation, project management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to develop and implement effective conservation strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
Experience
5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation, project management, or a related field.
Salary
800,000 – 1,200,000 SSP per annum.
