Job Overview:WWF is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team in Mbeya, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing conservation projects that promote the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems. The position will involve working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve our conservation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement conservation projects that promote the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems
  • Work closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve our conservation goals
  • Conduct field research and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of conservation projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical assistance and support to local communities and government agencies

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in conservation or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
