We are seeking an Environmental Impact Specialist to join our team in Tunduru, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the environmental impact of our projects and ensuring that they are implemented in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess the environmental impact of our projects and ensure that they are implemented in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation measures to minimize the negative impacts of our projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects are implemented in a socially responsible manner
- Develop and implement environmental management plans to ensure that our projects are implemented in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner
- Monitor and evaluate the environmental performance of our projects and make recommendations for improvement
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education
The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
The successful candidate must have 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management. Experience in a similar role in a reputable organization is an added advantage.
Salary
The salary for this position is 5,000,000 – 8,000,000 SSP per annum.
