We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join our team in Mbeya, Tanzania.

Job Overview

The Environmental Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing environmental monitoring programs to assess the impact of our projects on the environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and monitoring, and will be able to work effectively with our clients and stakeholders to design and implement monitoring programs that meet their needs.

The position will be based in Mbeya, Tanzania, and will require frequent travel to project sites throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement environmental monitoring programs to assess the impact of our projects on the environment.
  • Work with our clients and stakeholders to design and implement monitoring programs that meet their needs.
  • Conduct fieldwork to collect data and samples for environmental monitoring.
  • Analyze data and samples to assess the impact of our projects on the environment.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the results of environmental monitoring to our clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental monitoring and assessment.
  • Strong background in environmental science and monitoring.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders to design and implement monitoring programs.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.

Experience

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in environmental monitoring and assessment.

Salary

The salary for this position will be 500,000 – 700,000 SSP per annum.
