Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Officer to join our team in Tanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing conservation projects, conducting environmental assessments, and collaborating with local stakeholders to promote sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement conservation projects in collaboration with local communities and stakeholders
  • Conduct environmental assessments and monitoring to inform conservation efforts
  • Develop and implement sustainable development plans with local communities
  • Collaborate with government agencies and NGOs to promote conservation efforts

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in conservation or environmental management
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with local stakeholders
