Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst to join our team in Tanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing GIS solutions to support our customers’ business needs.

The GIS Analyst will work closely with our sales and support teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions using Oracle’s GIS technology. The candidate will also be responsible for providing training and support to customers on the use of GIS software and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS and experience working with Oracle’s GIS technology. The candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop GIS solutions to support customer business needs
  • Implement and configure Oracle’s GIS technology
  • Provide training and support to customers on the use of GIS software and systems
  • Work closely with sales and support teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize GIS projects and initiatives

Required Skills

  • Strong background in GIS and experience working with Oracle’s GIS technology
