Job Overview

The Guest Experience Manager will lead the Guest Services team to ensure every visitor enjoys a seamless, personalized stay that reflects Hyatt’s commitment to excellence. This role involves overseeing front‑desk operations, concierge services, and guest feedback mechanisms while collaborating with housekeeping, food & beverage, and sales departments to deliver integrated service solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach front‑desk and concierge teams to deliver exceptional guest interactions.
  • Develop and implement service standards, SOPs, and quality assurance processes.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, analyze feedback, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and sales to ensure smooth operations and upsell opportunities.
  • Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
  • Lead special projects such as VIP guest programs and local cultural immersion activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and CRM tools.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
  • Ability to handle high‑pressure situations with professionalism.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili; additional languages are a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or similar are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ experience in hotel operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in luxury or upscale hotel environments is highly preferred.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total rewards structure.
