Job Overview
The Renewable Energy Policy Analyst will support Enel Green Power’s strategic engagement with Tanzanian policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders. You will research, draft, and advocate for policies that enable the growth of renewable energy infrastructure, ensuring alignment with national energy plans and international climate commitments.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of Tanzanian energy legislation, regulations, and incentives related to renewable projects.
- Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and recommendations for senior management and government officials.
- Monitor and report on regional and global renewable energy policy trends that could impact Tanzania.
- Collaborate with legal, technical, and commercial teams to ensure policy compliance across all projects.
- Engage with ministries, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to promote Enel Green Power’s interests.
- Support the development of corporate sustainability reports and public disclosures.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and research abilities with a focus on energy policy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and policy modeling software.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
- Understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy, Energy Management, Law, Economics, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certification in energy policy or sustainability is highly desirable.
Experience
3‑5 years of experience in policy analysis, government affairs, or regulatory compliance within the energy sector, preferably renewable energy. Experience working with Tanzanian ministries or regulatory agencies is a strong advantage.
Salary
SSP 2,500,000 – SSP 3,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
