Job Overview
The Financial Inclusion Specialist will be responsible for working with the government and other stakeholders to promote financial inclusion in Tanzania. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial inclusion and will be familiar with the challenges and opportunities facing the financial sector in Tanzania. The Financial Inclusion Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the government and other stakeholders, including training and capacity building programs, and will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the impact of financial inclusion projects.
The Financial Inclusion Specialist will be based in Bukoba, Tanzania, and will be required to travel frequently to other parts of the country. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Swahili and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Financial Inclusion Specialist will be a team player and will be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, bankers, and community leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the government and other stakeholders to promote financial inclusion
- Develop and implement training and capacity building programs for financial sector stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of financial inclusion projects
- Work with the government and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and regulations to promote financial inclusion
- Provide technical assistance to financial institutions to improve their financial inclusion products and services
Required Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in financial inclusion
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
Experience
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial inclusion.
Salary
The salary for this position is SSP 5,000,000 – 10,000,000 per annum.
