Job Overview
The Hospitality Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of Hilton’s flagship property in Dar es Salaam, ensuring seamless service delivery across all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest services. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, maintaining brand standards, and achieving financial targets while delivering exceptional guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with department heads, senior management, and external partners to uphold Hilton’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulations.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to achieve profitability goals.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate department heads and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to enhance satisfaction scores.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
- Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are rigorously applied.
- Prepare regular operational reports for senior leadership.

Education

Experience
Minimum of five years in senior hotel operations roles, with at least two years in a managerial capacity overseeing multiple departments. Experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment is preferred.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the compensation package.
