Job Summary
The Market Intelligence & Research Development Specialist will lead NBC’s research & development agenda, focusing on economic forecasting, competitive intelligence, customer insights, product efficiency, operational improvement, and innovation strategy.
The role involves analyzing market dynamics, regulatory changes, customer preferences, fintech innovation, and digital banking trends to support strategic decision-making and ensure sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Research
- Conduct industry research, market scanning, and competitor benchmarking
- Monitor economic indicators, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory developments
- Analyze consumer behaviour, customer expectations, and emerging market patterns
- Deliver actionable reports and intelligence to guide senior leadership decisions
- Evaluate digital banking trends, fintech disruptions, payment innovations, and banking transformation models
2. Research & Development (R&D)
- Drive NBC’s innovation and research agenda
- Assess emerging technologies and product opportunities
- Conduct feasibility studies and business case evaluations
- Support pilot projects, testing initiatives, and concept validation programs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve product-market fit
3. Customer Insights & Behaviour Analytics
- Perform customer segmentation and journey analysis
