Job Overview

Mount Meru Hospital is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality healthcare services in Arusha. The nurse will work with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to deliver excellent patient care and support hospital operations.

Ideal candidates should have strong clinical skills, patient communication, and the ability to manage complex healthcare situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment plans.

Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids.

Assist physicians in diagnostic tests, surgeries, and clinical procedures.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Implement infection control and hospital safety protocols.

Provide patient and family health education and counseling.

Participate in emergency response and critical care procedures.

Collaborate with healthcare teams for care planning and management.

Mentor junior nurses and provide clinical supervision.

Uphold professional ethics and patient confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council

3–5 years clinical nursing experience

Knowledge of patient care standards, clinical procedures, and ethics

Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Flexibility for shift work including nights and weekends

Salary & Benefits

Annual Salary: Approximately TZS 14,400,000 – TZS 20,000,000 per year
