Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Engineer to join our team in Shinyanga, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing renewable energy projects in Tanzania, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess the technical and economic viability of renewable energy projects
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and project partners
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development and implementation
- Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or related field from a recognized university
Experience
5-7 years of experience in renewable energy project development and implementation, preferably in Tanzania or a similar context
Salary
8,000,000 – 12,000,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
