Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Support preparation of accurate and timely financial reports
Record financial transactions in line with accounting standards
Assist in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring
Ensure proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and receipts
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain organized financial records for easy access and audit readiness
Support internal and external audit processes
Work closely with programme teams to ensure donor compliance
Qualifications & Competencies
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) – Mandatory
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Knowledge of NGO financial systems and donor-funded projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to work independently and within a team
Previous NGO experience is an added advantage
Terms of Engagement
This is a volunteer position offering hands-on experience in financial management
Exposure to donor-funded programme finance and audit processes
Flexible duration with a preferred commitment of 3–6 months
