Job Overview

The Water Resource Management Engineer will lead the planning, design, and implementation of water resource projects in the Mpanda region. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure sustainable water supply, efficient use of resources, and compliance with national regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive water resource assessments, including hydrological modeling and demand forecasting.
• Develop and oversee the design of water intake structures, distribution networks, and storage facilities.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory approvals.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field staff.
• Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community stakeholders to promote sustainable water management practices.

Required Skills

Education

Experience

Salary
